Energy

The following is an small insight into what I came across in a video presentation called "The Secret" It would be of great help to you, it would help you in understanding yourself and why you are present and what you can do, what is your potential. The good that you can do for yourself and for others.

Energy -It describes how much potential a physical system has to change.

Energy can neither can b created nor destroyed, energy always was and has been there, its always moving in the form, through the form and out of the form.

It may seem to be a very weird or different thing of what I'm talking about. We are energy and everything within and around us is energy. You may wonder how can we be made of energy, well, this is how it is : The is Universe made of energy, so is the galaxy, earth, humans, within us our organ systems, which are made of cells, which are composed of molecules, which are made up of atoms which have energy. This is how on a very microscopic level we are all energies. This means, when all these energies are combined, we as humans are made up of energies.

Then, according to the conservation principle any form of energy can be transformed into another form, but the total energy always remains the same. If this is to be true and everything around us is energy, then we can transform anything to any other form or may be even change the look of it to suit our needs. We can transform these energies to make objects around us suitable to us, also we can use these present energies to create new objects of our desire.

I would recommend you to download the documentary film "The Secret" from the link below.

Death

Death as I know is the end of life. A coming to end of the feeling of being, of touching objects, talking to people and doing a lot of other things like having fun, spending quality time with family and friends. Doing what ever we feel like, obeying the laws that govern the country, the world and the universe as a whole.

Death is a lot of things we don't understand much about. Its a different reality. I don't think so anybody living knows of what it is like to be dead. We don't even remember if we where present and had a previous life. The last thing one should have on their mind is death.

I think there two kinds of people who I can categorize according to their thoughts about death.
1. People who accept death as a part of life. We are born and then we die.
2. Another lot of people who don't like to listen or get the chills about the word death, cause it means the end on non-being, not being present. Scary, that is very much how I am.

People who accept death as part of their lives are people who wouldn't want to live long, meaning, they want to live only up to about a certain age and then peacefully die.

People like me, who don't accept death, which is really scary, cause it means, you don't have the ability to be present with the world, your different and things change immediately. A lot of things start to run in our minds and it feels very bad and fearful. I wouldn't want to be not present and have the feeling of not being in this fictitious reality. I said fictitious reality because, its all Maya, the illusion as the Hindu literature's call it.

In the past few days a handful of people close to me have been talking about death and saying that they would like to live up to a certain age and die. It seems scary alright, but I gave it a thought. I guess, when we come to a certain age, like we see our elderly people in their 80's or 90's struggling with old age, barely able to do the things they used to in their youth, it feels miserable. It may seem so that at an old age people tend to think that way, but if you were able to live young, wouldn't you think of living further more and enjoy the life of the future. I don't really understand why people wouldn't want to see what the future hold for us, the places we could be in. Also come to think of it, its may be because people get tired too soon of being alive and having fun, doing the things we most like doing.

My blog here seems to wired and scary, I know, I've used the word "scary" like a gazillion times, but, that's how I feel when I talk about death. Everything between life and death is the most pleasant and fun thing a person can experience. So, when you have the opportunity, make the most of it and live a happy and peaceful life.

World Earth Day

First, some facts about "World Earth Day"

What is Earth Hour?
  • Earth Hour is World Wildlife Fund's global initiative where individuals, businesses and governments turn off their lights for one hour to show their support for action on climate change.
  • Earth Hour is a symbolic event designed to engage people from all walks of life in the climate change discussion to send a strong message to our political leaders that we want them to take meaningful action on climate change.
  • The largest climate event in history where millions of people around the world will unite by turning off their lights for one hour, Earth Hour, to demand action on the climate crisis.
What happened during Earth Hour in 2008?
  • Earth Hour 2008 was an important step in the fight against climate change. Over 50 million people, representing over 400 cities on all seven continents, turned out their lights in the largest climate event of all time.
  • The movement captured the public's imagination with lights going out at some of the world's most iconic landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House, Bangkok's Wat Arun Buddhist temple, the Coliseum in Rome, Stockholm's Royal Castle, London's City Hall, New York's Empire State Building, Sears Tower in Chicago and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Other symbols going dark included Cola-Cola's famous billboard in Times Square and the Google homepage
What are the next steps after turning out ones lights?
  • Earth Hour is just the start. After the lights go out around the world, we hope that conversations will continue on climate change and that people will take the initiative to make small changes in their lives to be more carbon-efficient. We encourage simple but effective energy-saving measures such as installing compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL), which are more efficient and last much longer than traditional incandescent bulbs, choosing energy-efficient appliances, making sure their car tyres are properly inflated and unplugging electronic devices when they are not in use. WWF will spend the rest of the year taking the voices of the people who participated in Earth Hour to our policy makers and work with them on finding ways to get us out of the climate crisis the world is facing.
Well, I don't have much to say in this, its self explanatory.
I'd like to tell a little about my experience on the World Earth Day (28th March 09). The day I came across this, I had planned on taking this small step towards making a better tomorrow for myself and my fellow people. I came to know about it from facebook, so I invited my friends to join the cause. Some of my friends did join the cause and took a small step to do their bit and some ignored it. Yesterday, from morning, I had been telling my parents I would like to switch off the lights at 8:30, they were also aware of the "World Earth Day" as the local newspapers had been giving information about the same. My parents encouraged me on it. They were also present along with my sister who didn't know much about it, but she also agreed as she came to know more of it from my mom. It also gave me a reason to celebrate my parents anniversary candle light dinner I had planned but because of some reason we could not go ahead with it. This gave me and my sister the oppourtunity of giving my parents the last gift in my possesion and celebrating the delayed candle dinner which instead of the two of them all the four celebrated. It was a very happy and fun time I had with my family. It was like the famous hindi dialoge from the movies "Ek teer, toh neshana", which means, using one move I had completed two objectives. All in all, it was a wonderfull time I spent with my family.
