Questions of MBA and Life itself

Yesterday my friends and I were discussing about a few MBA questions as one of my friends is taking up MBA. He wanted to discuss and improve himself. Anyways, thats not the point, the thing is while we were discussing about the questions. There was this one question, which read "What are your objectives in life? Both career and personal."

It seems like a very easy and simple question to answer. Well, it is, but I went on to explain and ask questions to my friends which they felt was unnecessary and useless. I shall get to the questions I asked a little later. Getting back to where we started off. The objectives of a person in his or her lifetime would be anything from becoming famous, a millionaire or may be doing something extraordinary. Well, these are what everybody would think. But, one friend of mine, has limited wishes about himself, he wants to lead a simple life, have a good carrier, family and some good time to himself. I don't say that its wrong, cause everybody has their own thoughts about how they want to live their lives. I asked him, well, thats ok, but is there something that would want to do, which would be like the highlight of your life, which would be the high point, which he would want to reach, and his answer, is "no", I'm happy if I'm able to lead my life with a good carrier and happy family and a good time. Ok, I said, but I think a little differently, so I asked him to think a little harder and ask himself what would the objective of his life would be? I did not stop at that. I also asked a lot more questions which sounded crazy for 2 of my friends present.

I asked questions like Why are we born? What is it that one has done differently than living the life he or she wants to? I mean, if you look at all that people do in their life time is to be born, study hard in school, collage and get married to a lovely husband or a beautiful wife. Have children and bring them up to see your grand kids. Well, everyone does, that, but what is so different about your life from the other person. You are born, you've lived your life according to your parents will, studied hard and joined collage, did your professional degree and stuff. Next what, get married and lead a Happy Life. That is fine, but has anyone sat down and thought for a moment, why we are born? Why we are born to the parents that we are? Why we are born in the country we are born to and not another country? After all the discussion of these questions, which sounded so crazy to my friends that I needed to shut myself.

And then there was another question "If you were to go back in time and change something what would you change?" Again, as simple as answers can be, they said it would be to change a few of their set backs in their lives that they made. My answer to the question was that I would not like to change anything in my life, because its been nice, the way it has been, may be I would want to be richer, or famous, but that would change the course of my life, which I definitely don't want. Another friend of mine also didn't feel the need for any change, but according to me and the way his life is going, I thought he needed a lot of change. Based on which I asked him why not change the things like, may be your life patterns, life may be born in a rich family, change parents, or may be born in another country. Like before, again both my friends were shocked, at least one was. He asked me why change country, why the change on friends? Why change a lot more things...

All the questions I asked them both about why we were born, what was the purpose of life was, why we needed to do what everybody does? What is the reason for being born on this planet and not another one. Also there was a time when we were discussing about the things in life that are impossible, are they or is there any thing that is impossible? I don't think so, there is nothing that is impossible, but its just not been tried as yet. One of my friend asked me the same questions I had been asking them, but the only reply I could give him was that I did not have any answers, that's the reason I was asking questions that I did.

Its an incident from my life. If my friends who were present, don't like this blog, please forgive me. Its just that I wanted to share it with my other friends too, hope it is taken in a sporty manner.

Questions I ask myself about Life

What is life? Life according to what I've learned, experienced and got to know from a lot of people is - the presence of a living person, the experience one gains through his (her) hardships, work, emotions, expressions, views of their own and others is life. The karma that one carries from their past life, which creates their present.

Life is a lot different to different people. Life to some is an experience from which they have to learn to become a good human being. Life to others is having luxury at their will and living life to the fullest - "King size". Life to some others like me is enjoyment, fun, laughter and expressions of freedom of will and choice, which is a little hard to live up with.

Life from my point of view is the presence of oneself on this planet, our motherland Earth and the universe as a whole. But what is the presence of us here for, why are we born as humans? Is there a reason to live? Why is it that everybody follows and does the same things in life? As in, be born, study hard, word harder, spend more time earning money than with your family, get married and have children. And then the life cycle continues in the child you have given birth to. Not that there is any other way of doing things, it is what we have been doing, but why do have to do what we are doing? What is the purpose of this evolution from the first human on the planet to this day, where the population runs in millions n billions of people living and doing the same things the other person does living in the US, Africa, London, Japan or even in India.

The question of us being human, the purpose of living a life, the evolution of mankind, the problems which we face today compared to those that our ancestors had, the problems we have created by the work system of today, the life we live in fear of death of ourselves and our loved ones. The life of hardships, ethics of modern world, the living society which has its own terms, rules, traditions, expressions of their community and the way others should live or not to. Is this what life is all about? No, but this is what we have created for ourselves.

Life according to me should me more peaceful, loving, carefree, will to do good for others and ourselves. A life in which we try to discover the reason for living life the way we are or the way we should be living, the goodwill of society as a whole. A life with freedom of expression, the will to choose what we want over what our parents wish for us. Not to bother about what society thinks of what we do as correct or wrong.

Life is a question, we need to ask ourselves about how to live it, how much time we spend with our families and friends over the amount of money one would want to earn. About the enjoyment we get with having fun moments with our friends who share our joys and sorrows. About the expression of laughter, smile on a persons face because of you. The time we spend with ourselves which make us realise how we are part of the family, friends and the community, what we would want ourselves to be than what we are. The way we live our life is totally based on what we want it to be, free will, laughter, joy n feeling of happiness, being happy of having those precious moments with our loved ones.

This is a blog of my varied views of life and the way it should or could be led.

In a very simple way on how we should live our lives, I'd like to end it by saying the following statement made by Pablo Picasso

First Blog!!!

As this is my first blog ever, I would like to start with thanking all of the people I know, as everyone has had an influence on me and I've learned a lot from all of them.

Firstly the mighty lord, the all mighty who has created a world which is so beautiful, but because of a certain few, most of us have to suffer. I have a lot of questions about life itself, so I'm hoping to get the answers soon, hope your listening dear GOD!!! :)

My parents n my sister, who have been a great support to me. My parents who have brought me up in such a manner that I'm truly great full to have such lovely parents and a loving sister. The numerous things that parents do to teach their children the way a great, fun n good life should be lived. It is painful to look at people who have parents and not accept them as family and leave them to the mercy of the almighty. And there are those who long for parents and have to live their lives without. A sister who cares ever more and is so innocent, naughty, that it makes me think what my life would be without her.

Family, a very small word, but which means a lot with the family I have. Uncles, aunts, cousins n nephews all in very good ways have been an integral part of my life. They are the people I look up to when I need help. They are the people with whom I celebrate, have fun and enjoy festivals, moments of laughter n joy. People who have influenced me in many ways than they know. As they are the ones who have been my inspiration for being a good human being.

Friends, they are very special people in my life, because of whom, I've changed in many ways than what I used to be in my school days. Days which I still cherish with them. A lot of friends whom I've made from different stages and walks of my life. Friends who I know will help me in any situation I'm in. I will also do the same for them when the need arises. They have backed me in all the good that I did and have told and helped me with their sound advices on my wrong doing. There are another set of friends from online who I don't interact with much. But I do hope to meet them all in person sometime in my life, as I a feel personal meeting is always better than the online approach.

Lastly, for all the people in the world who still don't know me, well I'm coming your way to make my presence felt.

Hope this first blog of mine, shows all the people I know that you as a special person have made a difference in my life with your presence and blessings. I hope this blog makes everyone who read it feel that the people around you are more important in life than anything else present in the world. I wish for all the best of wishes n good luck n fortune in the coming years.
